Acceptance of these terms
By creating an RxCTRL account or using the RxCTRL mobile or web applications (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
RxCTRL is operated by Digital Simplistics, LLC ("RxCTRL," "we," "us"). The Service connects patients to participating independent pharmacies for prescription management.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret and for any activity under your account.
If you manage prescriptions for a family member, you confirm that you have the legal authority to do so under applicable state and federal law.
The pharmacy relationship
RxCTRL is a communication tool, not a pharmacy. Your pharmacist of record remains solely responsible for the dispensing, counseling, and clinical aspects of your prescriptions. RxCTRL does not provide medical advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to access prescription information for someone you don't have authority to manage;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service;
- Upload malicious code or impersonate another person.
Service changes & availability
We may add, change, or remove features, and may stop offering the Service at any time. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes.
Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, RxCTRL disclaims warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Johnson County, Kansas.

What we collect
When you use RxCTRL we collect:
- Account information — your name, phone number, email, date of birth, and the pharmacy you choose.
- Prescription activity — refill requests, status updates, and notification preferences.
- Device information — device model, OS version, and app version, used for support and crash reporting.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the Service, communicate with you about your prescriptions, and improve the app. We do not use your prescription data to train advertising models or sell it to third parties.
Sharing
We share information only with:
- Your pharmacy of record, to fulfill your prescription requests;
- Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, SMS delivery) under written agreements that limit their use of the data;
- Authorities, when required by valid legal process.
Your choices
You can view, correct, export, or delete your data from Account & security. You can also turn off non-essential notifications at any time.
Retention & security
We keep your account data while your account is active and for a short period after closure for legal and audit purposes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
Changes to this policy
We'll post material changes here and notify you in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
This Notice describes how Protected Health Information (PHI) about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information. Please review it carefully.
