RxCTRL — Account & Data Deletion

Deleting your account removes your RxCTRL login and app access. Your prescription history and medical record remain at your pharmacy, as required by law.

What we delete

  • Your RxCTRL login credentials
  • Notification preferences
  • Portal and app account association

Completed within 30 days of your request.

What stays at the pharmacy

  • Your prescription history
  • Your medical record
  • Dispensing and clinical data

This data is held in your pharmacy's management system, not by RxCTRL. It is retained by your pharmacy under HIPAA and applicable state pharmacy law — RxCTRL cannot modify or delete it. Contact your pharmacy directly to ask about their specific retention periods.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in at rxctrl.com
  2. Click Account & security (top-right, or go to /account)
  3. Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom
  4. Click "Delete account"
  5. Enter your password in the confirmation dialog
  6. Click "Yes, delete my account" — your account is removed immediately

Can't access your account? Contact us and we'll process your deletion request manually.
